AT&T Points Plus World Mastercard gains bill discounts and a monthly credit
Citi and AT&T have upgraded the no-annual-fee card with $10 monthly AT&T bill discounts and a $20 credit for cycles with $1,000 or more in purchases.
Citi and AT&T said on April 20, 2026 that they have upgraded the AT&T Points Plus World Mastercard. The card carries neither an annual fee nor a fee on foreign purchases.
The bill savings come from AT&T. Eligible customers who use AutoPay together with paperless billing get $10 off each month for every wireless line and $10 off an eligible internet bill. Paying AutoPay with a debit card cuts the amount to $5 per line or bill, while AutoPay set up with any other credit card earns nothing. Wireless savings start within two bills and internet savings within three, and the full plan price applies in the meantime. Customers on AT&T Internet Air get $5 monthly.
Citi contributes a $20 credit to the account for every cycle in which spending totals at least $1,000, which can reach $240 across a year. The card earns ThankYou Points at 3x for gas and EV charging, 2x for grocery stores, 2x for spending with AT&T, bill payments included, and 1x for all other purchases.
For new cardmembers, Citi gives a variable purchase APR of 19.49% to 27.49% as of April 20, 2026, set according to creditworthiness. Current customers can use the added benefits now, and new applicants can apply via AT&T. People who work for AT&T, retirees and IMO consumers do not qualify for the discounts.
