AAdvantage Executive card fee goes to $695 on August 23, 2026, with new credits

New cardmembers pay $695 instead of $595 from August 23, 2026, and the card adds vacation, inflight and Lyft credits and larger Loyalty Point bonuses.

American Airlines, Citi and Mastercard said on August 3, 2026 that they are revising the Citi / AAdvantage Executive World Legend Mastercard. Starting August 23, 2026, new cardmembers will pay a yearly fee of $695, up from $595. A $175 charge covers up to three authorized users, and each additional user is also $175.

Some perks are added or expanded. Each calendar year, cardmembers may get as much as $500 back as statement credits on qualifying American Airlines Vacations purchases. They may also get as much as $100 per calendar year for inflight spending and qualifying Admirals Club purchases. The Lyft credit increases from $120 to $180 annually, paid as $15 in a month once three qualifying rides are taken. Bookings through AAdvantage Hotels and Cars that qualify now earn 12X miles, up from 10X.

The Loyalty Point bonus structure changes too. Cardmembers receive 10,000 bonus points at each of four thresholds, 50,000, 90,000, 165,000 and 240,000 points earned within one status qualification year, so the maximum bonus rises from 20,000 to 40,000 points. Primary cardmembers also obtain Champion status with Omni Hotels & Resorts, along with a yearly free night after a stay of at least two nights that qualifies. Avis President's Club status is included as well, and enrollment for it is available through August 31, 2028.

Features that carry over include 4X miles on eligible American Airlines purchases and an Admirals Club membership. The primary cardmember plus as many as eight companions also get a free first checked bag. Citi cites a total value of up to $2,300.
