Atmos Rewards to update Business card and open Bank of America transfers
Alaska's program plans a revamped Visa Business card for late 2026, with point transfers from eligible Bank of America cards starting in 2027.
Alaska Airlines' Atmos Rewards program has announced changes to the way its credit cards tie into the loyalty program. Bank of America issues the cards. The update involves the business card and a new route for Bank of America cardholders to send points to Atmos Rewards.
The Atmos Rewards Visa Business Card is slated for a refresh in late 2026. Features named so far include 10x points on eligible purchases booked via Atmos Rewards for Business, passes for airport lounges, and same-day confirmed flight changes at no charge, along with additional perks. The program said it would share complete details of the updated card later in the fall. It did not release an annual fee or earning rates for other spending.
Starting in 2027, holders of eligible Bank of America cards will be able to move points into Atmos Rewards. Alaska said it intends to add transfer options through other select global financial institutions as time goes on. The announcement did not include a transfer ratio or a list of qualifying cards.
The announcement also mentioned the Atmos Rewards Summit card, which debuted the previous summer. It earns status points on day-to-day spending and speeds up earning on purchases made abroad. Across the Atmos Rewards Visa credit card lineup, members collect both points and status points on everyday purchases. A debit card is also planned for early 2027, and it is not a credit card.
