Chase's The Edit to add 10,000+ vacation homes for Reserve cardholders in 2027

From January 1, 2027, Reserve cardholders can use their yearly credit for The Edit on homes; Sapphire Reserve for Business gets up to $1,000.

On January 1, 2027, vacation homes join The Edit, Chase Travel's selection of upscale hotels and resorts. Over 10,000 homes will be listed next to the program's 1,500-plus hotels and resorts. Plum Guide picks the homes, and they can be booked on Chase Travel, including with Ultimate Rewards points.

The change reaches holders of the Sapphire Reserve, the J.P. Morgan Reserve and the Sapphire Reserve for Business, who will be able to spend their yearly credit for The Edit on these homes. On the first two cards that credit is worth as much as $500 a year. For the business card, from January 1, 2027, it is as much as $1,000 a year, capped at $250 for each stay, and it can be used at any time during the calendar year. Only prepaid stays of two nights or more count toward the credit.

A home reserved via The Edit also carries a $150 credit for extras during the stay, such as a massage, a private chef or a ride from the airport, plus early check-in and a late checkout where the property allows. These home perks apply only to stays of four nights or longer, and some depend on availability and differ by property. Sapphire Reserve holders can also get help with homes from Chase's Reserve Travel Designers.

Cardholders with Freedom, Ink or Sapphire Preferred cards can book from a far larger pool of vacation homes on Chase Travel. Chase announced the expansion together with its yearly list of 27 places to visit in 2027.
